Quite impressive (compared to 480) if it manages to hit the MRSP. 480 owners are probably happy.

That card is a steal @ $179. Much better showing (IMHO) than the 480.

470 Nitro is neck and neck with the 480 in alot of tests.

Cheap and good performance for the price point but definitely not where I'd want to go. I'd be taking a hefty step down from my GTX970...yea a little less power consumption but when I can get an additional 15% performance over a stock 970 with a 1500MHz core clock...I'll take that anyday

This card is for 270/370 class gpu owners. not 970.

Folks seem to be forgetting that none of the cards being tested (be it by us or others) are actually priced at $179. They are all $189 to $249 (!!!) which is way, way too close to the $199 RX 480 4GB IMO.

For that kind of money you'd be nuts not to go the 480 route. wink.gif

This is such a fail of pricing. Almost 20% slower stock and only 20$ cheaper.

$210 for the 4GB Nitro on Newegg. Yikes.
