Important Information:

V015 Firwmare Link

Pressing the Hot Menu Button switches the monitor from the Standard Picture Mode (best)/color preset to the Game1 Preset which cranks the brightness to 90/100.

Make sure to use the correct (Full not Limited) Displayport & HDMI Dynamic Range setting, other wise the colors and contrast will be greatly reduced and the monitor will look dull.

AMD Catalyst Control Center Instructions:

Nvidia Control Panel Instructions:

+Official Product Page
+List of Free-Sync compatible AMD graphics cards
+3840x2160 with 4:4:4 (Displayport or HDMI RGB Range Full)
+4K via Displayport 1.2 or HDMI 2.0 (HDMI 1 input)
+Excellent preset color accuracy and 100% sRGB color space coverage
+Fast pixel response times with no overshoot ghosting
+30ms delay can be greatly reduced by enabling Free-Sync in the menu with Nvidia cards
+48-65hz Free-Sync Range (can be increased to 35-65hz)
+Excellent 1080p scaling
+Displays both HDMI limited and full signals from consoles correctly
+Very wide viewing angles
+Suffers from less glow than most AHVA/IPS/PLS (suitable for viewing from 2ft/60cm away)
+Enabled Free-Sync cuts lag from 30 to 15ms via Displayport.
-Shadow-border: around 2mm of all edges of the panel is lost to a semi-transparent black shadow-border
- 30ms delay vs BenQ BL3201PH 3ms (top screen Leo Bodnar measurement) with Free-Sync disabled
-30-ms delay can only be reduced when connected via Displayport to a PC
-Shadow Effect: uncovered back-light diffuser creates a shadow effect when the monitor is looked down upon
-YcbCr444 signal white and grey bleaching
-Very short stand which exacerbates the shadow effect
-Non-standard VESA mount size; mounting requires long screws (m6) to bypass the included stand attachment
? Free-Sync does not work with Nvdia graphics cards
? Google graphics card reviews and look at 4k benchmarks before buying

The Qnix UHD3216R uses an 8 bit +FRC AUO AHVA panel (M320QNA01.0) according to the specifications, but is marketed as IPS or IPS Type. The 32" 4k AHVA panels suffer from less glow than most AHVA/IPS/PLS panels used in monitors, have essentially grain free matte coatings, fast pixel response times and very wide viewing angles. The AMD Free-Sync range is not listed, but it is likely 30 or 40-60hz. It comes with a remote, appears to have a dark brushed matte grey black bezel and PiP+PBP functionality.

One guy on Reddit has bought one- maybe u can persuade him to post here as well?
I don't have reddit account.
I just got mine today via DHL (free two-day delivery from Korea, incredibly). I won't be overclocking, though.

I have been using this panel for about a week now myself.... It is my first foray into 4k PC action and has been great so far.... I did not buy perfect pixel option and have noticed 0 dead or stuck pixels.... I typically would choose glossy screens but the anti-glare coating is not bad. Colors out of the box are pretty spot on just eye-balling it and the colors are definitely a tad more vivid than my 1440p IPS I was using prior to getting this. I am using Windows 10 scaling set @ 125% and enjoy it there.... Gaming is great so far although my rig has finally met it's match with it's single 980ti. This unit has an integrated power supply. so no external power brick to hide, has suprsingly good fit and finish with a fully aluminum stand and sleek, textured panel housing and bezel. Out of the box the brightness is set at 50% and is WAY too bright.... I am running it at 26% now and feel it is just about right, just on the brighter side of my preferences, but helpful for color and contrast.

The largest negative is backlight bleeding, mostly on the bottom right corner, a tad in the bottom left and a smidge on the top left.... This was very noticeable at the default brightness, at my current setting I only notice a small amount of the bottom right area on dark screens, which was by far the worst area at default brightness, the other areas are virtually gone at 26%. I did not receive a remote control in the box with mine, but did receive a hdmi cable and US power adaptor for the asian power cable, although I have since ordered a replacement US "mickey mouse" plug power cord from Amazon for 5 dollars to eliminate the dumb US adaptor.

Sounds really good.

I like the aluminum housing bit- is it really alumunim??

Also any ghosting in fast shooters or input lag issues? thanks.

I received mine today as well (730 CAD + 60$ duty vs 1400$ after tax for the BenQ BL3201PH) Build quality is superb, it can cover 100% of the sRGB color space and has excellent color presets, but the default contrast setting (50) causes severe color bleaching (obvious when looking at the Lagom White Saturation Test) over Displayport, but not HDMI. Reducing the Contrast to 43 fixed the issue with barely any contrast lost (1250:1=native contrast) Preset color accuracy is pretty much perfect, the pixel response times match the fastest 60hz AHVA/IPS/PLS, but it has a 30ms delay (1080p top screen Leo Bodnar measurement). It also automatically reads the signal the PS4 sends which is rare; most monitors need the PS4's RGB Range set to be Full to prevent severe image quality loss. I didn't notice any obvious scaling issues with the PS4, but I have not compared it to my 25" HP 25er.

The bezel is dark matte black which is too bad since it ruins the perceived black depth a bit; dark matte grey bezels are the best.

This is a 60hz monitor with a 30ms delay which is high for a modern monitor, however it might be fine depending on which monitor you're currently using. The important thing to know is that the UHD3216R is essentially as fast as a non-TN 60hz monitor can be, not if it has ghosting since all LCD monitors without back-light strobing or motion compensation suffer from LCD sample-and-hold-blur and color streaking (TN, AHVA/IPS/PLS), and/or color smearing (VA and very old IPS and TN) and/or overshoot ghosting (side effect many monitors with lazily implemented overdrive suffer from). Different kinds of ghosting:

60hz vs 120hz vs Lightboost (back-light strobing)

The UD3216R Response Time settings do nothing, but it is free from overshoot ghosting and performs like the BenQ BL3201PH's AMA Off overdrive setting: BenQ BL3201PH vs slow Samsung VA panel. View the Test UFO Ghosting test on your own monitor.

Mine does not have any back-light bleed and 32" AHVA panels suffer from less glow than most non-32" AHVA/IPS/PLS, but using it in the dark with the brightness cranked is still a bad idea. I recommend setting the brightness to 0-10 if not using a very bright ceiling light. I use a single 2600 lumen 6500k/Daylight CFL light (example) in my ceiling with the brightness set to 10.

Found out that this monitor is actually 4096x2160@60hz RX 470 actually drove it dota (only game I play) at 70+ fps. Quality is great, feels like metal bezel, metal stand. Unbelievable true 32 IPS true 4k with freesync for this price.

I have not had any noticeable ghosting or input lag, no worse than my 1440p I came from anyways... It is a fully machined aluminum stand with a fine hairline texture to it, I love it.... The panel back is two toned as the photo shows above... Gloss at the top and a interesting matte crackle finish. The front bezel appears to be aluminum in the same matching hairline finish as the stand, although it may actually be plastic, hard to tell so far. It is an attractive monitor for sure.... The backlight bleeding is really my only negative, even at the lowered brightness of 24 it is still moderately visible on the bottom right, I could go lower still, and maybe turning the contrast down will help further.

I have a 980ti; the UHD3216R does not overclock at all, and only HDMI 1 supports 3840x2160, but as a HDTV resolution in the Nvidia Control Panel instead of a PC resolution. Ignore the 4096x2160 since the panels native resolution as 3840x2160.

So the 4096x2160 does not work when u set it?

I have a lot of issues with mine and I dont know honestly if it is RX 480 to blame or I've got the damaged one. Any mode in 30 hz works just fine but if I set 4k@60hz via HDMI my screen keep blinking and I get this message "Cable is not connected". Display port works fine with 30 hz as well (when I set DP mode 1.1 in settings) but if I set 60 hz (DP mode 1.2) then nothing is shown on the screen. Leaving it on 30 hz is a no way for me so I either figure out what it wrong - RX 480 or the monitor or I dunno.

So i have bought new Displayport cable and it seem to work just fine now. I still dont get why HDMI cable which was sent with monitor does not work properly with RX 480. Maybe it is related to the fact that RX 480 supports this new HDMI 2.0b or smth. I dont know. In any case - advice for anyone who experiences same problem in future. Try new display port cable. Never ever had any issues with cables in my life previously
