Overall, what card would you recommend me to get? I currently have ASUS Sabertooth 990FX (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131736R), one PCIE2x16 slot is taken by DIAMOND HD 6000 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814103187) that drives my Dell U3011. If I were to buy this QNIX UHD3216R, which videocard you would recommend me to get for it? Will RX 460 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125897&ignorebbr=1) be enough? I saw you were laughing at RX470 but why )))

I'll be using it with Lightroom and Photoshop, no games and very little video.

Would appreciate any recommendation!
Yah RX 470 would be enough if u ain't planning on gaming.
But I think PS benefits from GPU acceleration with cuda cores- as many as you can get.

Great- hows the image quality? Any color uniformity problems from the center to the edges?
Any input lag or ghosting issues when playing fast shooters??
Thanks.
Just got around to hooking it up. Sort of disappointed at the viewing angles. I mean, first of all, I get the fact that this is in the same class as IPS, but I'm coming from a Dell Ultrasharp U2711 that I've used for many years, and it was a helluva lot more consistent. Yes, I realize that 27 inches is much smaller than 32 inches and these are back-lit displays, but it's like really severe vignetting on camera lenses: if this degree of vignetting existed on a lens, it would be an epic failure. Apparently I have to live with this.

I also have to live with one stuck green pixel, after tapping on it and then pushing hard onto it, and running UndeadPixel 2.1 on that spot for a day. But who knows, I might get lucky. What's the success rate for eliminating a single stuck pixel from a new monitor?

Lastly, I do find the stand inadequate; my Dell could rise higher, and as this is, it sits way too low. For now, I've got an old phone book underneath the stand, which is not ideal.

The BenQ can be returned and exchanged easily, has 4x USB 3.0, a height adjustable stand, slightly faster pixel response times and negligible lag (3ms vs Qnix 30ms Top Leo Bodnar measurement). The GTX 1080 is an ok 4k card unless you only intend to play ancient games or games like DOTA/LOL.

The U2711 is a garbage monitor famous for its very grainy matte coating, tinting issues, useless sRGB mode with locked color controls and tricking noobs into thinking vast wide gamut color over-saturation=quality. If not color managed (supported by OSX and work related programs) or set to the sRGB mode the U2711's wide gamut panel vastly over-saturates colors:

Left=non-color manged wide gamut monitor Right=Normal monitor Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), default quality

30-32" AHVA/IPS/PLS need to be viewed from at least 60cm/2ft away, otherwise the sides will look washed out due to the viewing angles. These types of monitors also need to be viewed from below (the top of the bezel should be at least 2 inches above ones head) to avoid seeing glow

Can someone post a picture of the on screen menu. I have the Crossover 324k and I'm very sure that these are the same panels/hardware. But ours lacks freesync and want to see if I can update the firmware to support freesync.

It's the classic red menu. Probably same controller. I read mstar one chip solution on official product page.

Yeah, thats what I thought. I'm just not brave enough to try the qnix firmware on the crossover. Do you guys get any the random screen flicker that happens for like a millisecond?

Mine has done this a few times (connected via HDMI), but so did my second screen. The brief flicker occurred while watching something on the Qnix and using the internet on my second monitor.

I think I'm going to pickup one of these monitors off Ebay tomorrow. I have a rx480 nitro 8gb on hold so i think it will go well since i barely play any games and Canadian Prices on GPU's are ridiculous. I only want a 4k monitor for programming and software/web development for school. $540CAD for a 32" 4K monitor is a crazy deal. Everyone's experience with this panel is still positive?

Not to sway you away from the Qnix but the Crossover 324k is practically its twin and is on sale for $400 (U.S.) on ebay. There is another forum about it here.
