Win10 Anniversary update caused unstable polling rate?

Ever since I updated to the latest win10 build, my mouse seems to have unstable polling rate. I don't know how this is possible, but atleast the mousemovementrecorder.exe shows me incredibly unstable polling rates.

Could it be so that the update just killed mousemovementrecorder.exe and there's no actual problem involved with the update? I have downloaded it again, though.

All my mice show these values on two different PCs with the latest Win10 updates.

EC2-A, DA Chroma, ZA13, Ninox Aurora, EC2-Evo and so forth.

Nice. They broke USB drivers again. Enjoy your super polling. I had about 18000hz before 1511.

The people on the CSGO forums were complaining the win10 update messed with their performance as well... Sorry to hear (waves from windows 7 pro as it sails away)

Could just be its reading the wrong values.. lets hope its that and not actual unstable polling cause you'd probably feel that while playing a little.. or so I think

Does disabling dynamic tick help?
Code:
bcdedit /set disabledynamictick yes

That's what I'm hoping, but I can't be sure. My aim hasn't been on after the update, but I'd like to think that it's my fault.

You're right, the anniversary update makes the mouse cursor extremely laggy, absolutely unacceptable for a gamer (I did a clean install). The following tweaks make the cursor feel much better but it's still worse than windows 7:

- Open Xbox app > go to config > Game DVR > Disable "Game DVR"

- disable cortana via registry

- Navigate to Settings > Devices > Mouse & Touchpad and disable the "Scroll Inactive Windows option"

Sorry if you already have tested this, I'm somewhat unfamiliar with the program you're using and how to read it properly (seems pretty obvious, but unsure if the unstable rate its measuring is the cause of it showing ~500hz etc. or if you actually tested the mice at 500hz). Does the problem still occur at 500hz? Uninstalling/installing updates and/or drivers isn't really an option at a computer at a LAN if this actually is a problem.

The update reset all my NVIDIA settings. You need to change from "Optimal Power" back to "Prefer Maximum Performance".
