Speedfan automatically sets the warning temp to 60c, what the warning temp does is completely overwrite you settings elsewhere so your custom fan curve and so on. Speedfan has core temps and a cpu temp so I was setting the cpu temp warning to 100c but it was still ramping the fans up to 100% due to individual cores, and because the cores on intel chips seems to be very all over the place temp wise, it caused my fans to go from my setting of 20% to 100% every second or so... As you can imagine, very... very... annoying.
Because my CPU is naked and overclocked to 4.7ghz with 1.5v (it's a terrible overclocker...) heat goes up to 65c then rapidly back down.

Correct I set all my cores to 100c to stop speedfan spazzing out.
