I've been messing around with OCing my i7 6700k on a MSi z170a SLI plus Mobo. I've been using Intel xtu to do a software overclock. I've pushed my multipliers to 46x and when I stress the cpu using cpu-z's stress test, current limit throttling comes on and the core speed on cpu-z is only like 4.4GHz when it should be close to 4.6GHz (because of the 46x multipler). All my temps look fine and the tdp is far below the tdp max of 95w. Is there a way I can disable current limit throttling or is there another way around this problem? Image attached. Thanks in advance!
