nice, thanks for the info for phase! i wish i knew what the chillbox route was, better do more research wink.gif

I'm in Perth Rayleyne, where are you? nice to meet another aussie here smile.gif

i can get 4800 stable without wh errors but dont want to run prime too long as i get to 93-95 deg

at 4700 i hit 80-82 ish using any method. ei turbo volts/offset/fixed

from what i see and read my chip is more temp controlled than something like my old Q9450 which maxed out the fsb before hitting max temps

i get 4700 @1.30v
4800@ 1.360
1.350 gets to about 90deg but with wh errors when running prime 1.360 gets rid of the errors and browser crashes (while running prime only) so i believe the chip has a bit left to give me.

please correct me if i have missed anything.

oh and cpu temp seems to lower a little bit when i increase vtt volts sometimes or am i imagining things? ambient temp change perhaps?
pll volts doesnt help temps on my chip but seems to have helped others

to add to this also.... I read somewhere that if you can set stock cpu volts of 1.20 and run 4500 then you have a good chip.
mine can do that for prime 2hrs with no WHEA errors. SUM and round off error checking enabled of course,,,, (tested today)
and 4600 with WHEA errors when I open a web browser but doesn't crash (probably would if I left it to run overnight, dunno)

Chillboxes are basicly where you bring everything to sub zero with liquid cooling.

And i have a couple of old waterblocks and radiators, Honestly aren't worth much, One of them is a swiftech Pump block combo for a cpu

And Funnily enough Mandurah, South of perth.
