@renejr902, if I've read correctly (and I've read your thread fast, so I might be wrong), you have one of the best CPU ever made for gaming with a freaking titan XP.

At this point I wouldn't even ask anyone and get the best RAM sticks my motherboard could support with XMP profile because, Titan, that's the reason why!!

(That's what I did back then with my now-pin-bent Z87i-pro, even if it's supposed to show little to no gain at all biggrin.gif)

lol maybe he''l ask whether he should upgrade from 8GB ram.
seiously, get 16GB 2400 dude.
here's the rest of the results you asked for

http://pclab.pl/art65002-4.html

be aware NOBODY tested it on Titan X Pascal yet, and this card has the power of two 980Ti's, meaning it'll show gpu bottleneck less often than slower cards, therefore making it possible for cpu bottleneck to happen more often.

are you running a fixed refresh monitor or g-sync ? if fixed, v-sync on or v-sync off ?

lol you typed all your specs in the name of your rig.

Buying those faster sticks can be awful waste of money. Try clocking your current ram first.

buying a TXP then bottlenecking it cause you're a scrooge is a waste of money. how much is a 16GB 2400 kit ? 1/20 the price of the Titan ?
tsss....

Another option is to get that 2400Mhz kit for free and delivered in no time. Having money is cool but doesn't mean you'd have to be stupid and waste it biggrin.gif

I see different benchmark everywhere. I found a gta5 benchmark that prove no difference at fps between ram speed with a 980ti in 2k max setting.

I think ram speed will be more important with cpu bottleneck games or playing 1080p. But running game in 4k veryhigh and max setting is gpu bottleneck, in that case i think ram sped wont matter much: 2600 mhz has better min fps than 3200 in gta5 lol 2133 is 0,7 fps behind
Witcher 3 no difference too

In another example in grid 8fps less in 2133mhz but the game has already +100fps and cpu bottleneck

I play with a samsung 55" js8500 in 60hz . Great input lag and no blur. I had a 4k monitor before but i prefer this tv.

Im not sure again if i should buy faster ddr3, , and i just verified i would need a new motherboard because my asus h97 board dont support ram overclocking or ram faster than 1600mhz, i still got a 4,5 oc on 4790k, but no ram overclock is possible. Do you know of any bios mod for asus h97-plus motherboard ?

like I said, cpu bound scenario.these happen at 4K too.
If you wanna see for yourself, find a spot in any game that raises your cpu usage high. then drop your 1600 kit speed to 1066mhz and see what happens.
