I did the standard (blend) Prime95 test. It opened 12 (threads) workers which pushed my load to 100%.

For how long? You also have to run Real Bench and IBT. Warning about IBT, it will heat up your chip alot. Real Bench run the stress test.

I say try 1.30v cpu vcore instead of running the stability tests. Sometimes games are a good indicator of stability.

Okay i will dowload realbench and try 1.30vcore and will test in BF4 if i still have those microstutters.

Btw, does it make difference if you use Hyperthreading when your overclock your CPU?

What kind of differences are you curious about? It makes all kinds of differences. It can require more cpu vcore. It will cause more heat. GFlops/s will change when running IBT. I haven't been using HT for my gaming rig. I use it on my daily rig.

Well i want to know if my Hyperthreaded 12 cores are affecting the Overclock if your disable hyperthreading. Does hyperthreading help ingame performance like BF4? If it doesnt, i could better disable hyperthreading.

Oh of course they will. Why wouldn't they?

I don't play BF4 I play Rising Storm and Unreal Tournament 4. Why don't you turn off HT and run the game and stability tests and find out?

Okay pushed today Vcore to 1.30v but still getting stutters. When i readed on other forums, they said this could also be related when Hyperthreading was on. So i putted that one off and tried again, but still getting stutters.

So even with HT on or off it doesnt fix the stutters. Only when i put 3.8ghz with (152x25@1.21vcore) it working good again.

Any more idea's to get rid of these stutters @ 4ghz?

Only other thing i could think of which is causing the stutters is HPET. But my Rampage III Extreme have no option to disable HPET in the bios. HPET is included into ACPI 2.0 support on my board.

So if i want disable HPET, i need to disable ACPI 2.0 support. But isnt this for all power related stuff, which windows need?

Edit: Disabling ACPI 2.0, didnt disable HPET. Still have stutters.

Keep trying. I don't play BF4 so I don't k now how the game likes our X58 systems. It could be something totally unrelated. It could be a stability issue, it might not be. Like I said, use Real Bench, Intel Burn Test, and Prime95 to stability test. Also Memtest HCI is good.
