Hello everyone
i got an idea yesterday i do really like the sensor of the deathadder but not the shape anymore so is it possible to build out the sensor and inject him in an other mouse case that fits?

thank you and sorry for my bad english.

Kinzu is good for that, I've made a Kinzuadder v2 3.5G once. There is a thread here somewhere.

I believe DA 2013 won't work, because it doesn't have a separate PCB for the switches. In theory it is possible, I would not try that at home.

Anything is possible, it's just going to be more difficult to transplant.

Why would anyone want to replace the sensor of Kana v2? It is almost perfect as is. Has higher LOD than DA 2013 but no smoothing.

its just personal preference i cant get used to the steelseries sensors but i like the shape of the kana.

Would be too much hassle with 2013 as a donor, suggest buying a used 3G/3.5G. Kinzu v3 is no doubt an easier option PCB-wise, though less free space inside the shell.

As for Kana you'll have to cut the board and wire the wires straight to the switches and encoder; you'll lose the side buttons (and the PCB button, possibly).

i would be no problem for me i dont need the side buttons and soldering is also no problem for me! i just need a plan how i can go on?
