CPY have cracked Rise of the Tomb Raider, which uses the most current version of Denuvo. The crack is already in the wild.
CPY previously cracked games such as Battlefield: Hardline and Batman: Arkham Knight.
It has nothing to do with the "bypass" crack that used tickets from the Doom demo to run a wide variety of Denuvo Steam games. It's an actual crack that loads the executable into memory and then patches it.
There is no reason to believe this method can't be used on every v3 and below Denuvo title. It can very likely also be used for Origin and uPlay titles.
Upcoming Denuvo games will very likely be similarly vulnerable unless Denuvo have dramatic protection improvements up their sleeves.
However each new game will likely take a few days to crack, which is good news in terms of curbing piracy in the first few days of release.
edit: To clarify one minor point, Denuvo doesn't have clear-cut "versions" per se. People ended up labelling games as "version 2, version 3" etc based on time period and the type of protection used. It's not a huge issue, but it's one of those nitpicky things worth noting.

Well, that took quite a while.
I guess it's now possible to test if Denuvo has a performance impact or not.

Denuvo has no performance impact. It isn't a DRM but an anti tamper to said DRM. What I'd like to know is can the developers claim they saw an uptick in sale of their games while the protection lasted.

was only a matter of time I guess.
There is nothing really uncrackable these days.

it was cracked lst year or January just not available to the public
some were paid to not to be released, others that are popular(known) could be arrested if they did and giving anonymously the profit would go to someone else...

Piracy is not a problem. People that are pirating games are not going to buy it either way, so it doesn't hurt sales. We know that for ages now.

Edit: Like Steam and Netflix has shown, create a good service (like Steam or Netflix..), price it fairly and people will be willing to pay for it.

My thoughts exactly. Game quality has gone down the last 5-10 years and prices have gone up (as in: 60$ for half the game on release, an other 60$ for other half).
Publishers are screwing us over big time. I have no problem playing a fair amount of money for a decent game (like de €50 for Doom or the €20 I bought Factorio for recently, fair price and the game works, unlike most stuff on release these days.)
Most people that torrent games have no intention of buying them: simply because the game is "meh" at best or they simply don't have the money to pay for it.

I quit torrenting movies and series a while ago, just because streaming services are fairly priced and ease of use.

Publishers should learn. You can only screw over your customer to a certain extend. Go further and they quit buying it - resulting in less total profit. (The same goes for Nvidia with the recent cards btw)

irrelevant really , you should pay for your games not just take them

nobody should be able to play a game for free that other people have to pay for
