Overclocking, stability, voltage, and heat

So i have an engineering sample 6700k.

I can't seem to overclock it much past 4.3 ghz. Above that the voltage required to get it stable seems a bit much, at 1.4 volts required for some amount of stability at 4.4 ghz and up.

Now I have a Coolermaster T4. When running XTU's stress test my temps average around 65 C. That's with an input voltage of around 1.344 - 1.32 volts, at 4.32 ghz.

Would I see any benefit from going to a coolermaster 212 hyper evo, in terms of stability? I know my temps would go down, but does temperature affect stability for any given voltage?

As I said, I seem to be hitting some...wall or something when I try to move above that 4.3 ghz mark, where I have to add an insane amount of voltage to get it stable compared to the previous amount required.

Did I just get a bad CPU in terms of the silicon lottery? (probably)

Temperature plays a role in stability but I think it's more when you are getting into the high 70 degrees and above.
What sort of temps do you see before a crash with the higher voltages?

There comes a certain point where your cooling would hit it's limits and would not be able to properly cool for a certain voltage. Once you pass that point you would probably see a decent jump in temperatures (eg 65 max to 80 max or something like that) and it would be harder to get things running stable. Might be worth getting the better cooler to see what you can do with that chip.
