so i have two 4k monitors asus pb 287q , i am not using them on surround display. so my left monitor is the primary screen, so when i turn one of them off i get a sound that a device has been disconnected same as you disconnect a USB device , and the one screen which i turned off its windows and stuff comes over on the other screen which is on .. previously i had two 1080p monitors on HDMI and dvi but whenever turned them off this never happened . why is this happening

Sounds like you are completely removing power from the second monitor, which means the computer can no longer see it, and thinks you have one monitor only, moving all the content to that monitor.

Are you turning the monitor off at the wall / powe board / power source ?

i turn it off from the button on the LED panel, apparently the only way to resolve the issue is to never turn off the monitor from button on the LED, i just set the turn off display settings to 3 minutes , i automatically turns off the screen when PC is idle, and everything is fine when i come back, because whenever i turn off both the monitors from button the wallpapers become tiled when i comeback this also happens when i start up the PC without turning on both the displays first. but it never happens when i start my PC with display already on.
