I feel like I should get the steam version for free, given that the Windows UWP version has been broken for Nvidia users since launch.

But I thought Microsoft was going to destroy Steam because they hate gamers?

This game is overrated. Max Payne 1 had the best gun-gameplay innovation and best atmosphere for telling its story. This looks like meh... I can warp time with my hands. Another benchmark app when it hits bargain bin.

Well, the PC version currently has a 62 Metascore and a dismal 3.4 User Score on Metacritic, so... I wouldn't exactly give them too many points for effort with this game's re-release in particular. Actually, I'd say that your sarcastic note backfired.

If they ever release a highly successful Xbox game on Steam then we can talk.

Oh, it's that game. Forget it, the reviews I've seen make me cringe. The game doesn't even deserve a rating of 3.4.

Re Perf. the game runs quite well with the latest patch if you leave upscaling on.

With a 1080 I played through the game @ 4k with a mix of medium/high settings (textures maxed out), upscaling on, average fps would have been 50 but there were no nasty dips anywhere throughout the game, so it felt like a pretty smooth experience. Great game and would recommend. The graphics varied from area to area - areas heavy on lighting effects looked really cutting edge but then some other areas looked a bit bland

I did try turning upscaling off and it was running at 15fps-20fps. To me playing with upscaling on it isn't a issue at 4k , it still looks fairly sharp etc but maybe if you play at a lesser resolution it might not be so good

The game is great, played it on the xbox myself.

Any review against it is most likely done by someone that doesn't enjoy sci-fi. Imo it is a 7-8/10.

Can't comment on the pc version, but can't be too bad.

Oh boy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_Break#Origin.
If the patched PC version turns out well, I may have to pick this up. They used 3 full time writers to put together this story.

Three full time positions wasted making a dumpsterfire of an interactive movie instead of making a fun game.
