The G-SR is always slow, slick feet like Hyperglides help but it's still going to feel sluggish because of the squishy rubber base.

Mine seems very consistent. Haven't noticed it feeling bumpy or anything like that. It's the newer logo.

No bumps for sure, but it does take a little while to flatten. You can speed it up with heavy objects like textbooks

I live in Florida in a 350 sq/ft studio apartment and we use a full size dehumidifier that's meant for over 1000 sq/ft. Keeps the space nice and dry during the summer.

G-SR is much slower, since it have its weird initial friction that is the highest I ever tried in any cloth pad.
Doing minor movements with start-stops is horrid on the pad for me.

Glorious is much better in that regard.

I don't really like either pad however since satin pads are bad imo, and everything effects them, humidity, temperature etc.

Which mousepads would you recommend?

I am actually looking for a mousepad for my upcoming Logitech G pro. I am really debating which I should get and I have nailed it down to these 2 Mousepads: the Glorious XL ( heavy) or the Zowie G-SR. The G-SR i can get for 34 euro here in the Netherlands, however the Glorious I have to order it from Germany that will be like 31 euro for the Glorious Heavy XL and 28 euro for the XL. So the prices are about the same, just cant decide for which I should go for.

I used the Qck+ for years and the surface keeps changing over time as it is now it became totally sticky and slow after 2-3 years of heavy usage, I am still on the first Zowie FK, eitherway i guess it should be a good upgrade for both the mice and pad.

I actually hear mixed stories about which of the 2 is more durable and the surface glide doesnt change that quick over time.

To be fair, the QCK+ lasting two years was a great bang for your buck, can't really ask for more. IMO the Glorious will be consistent much longer than the Zowie, but I wouldn't expect to get more than 2-3 years out of any cloth pad.

Well I should have replaced both the mice and mousepad a long time ago. Seems the Glorious is the winner, and what are the thoughts between the XL and the Heavy? I assume the heavy is abit slower? My desk is pretty flat anyways

I imagine the heavy is only slower if your really putting a lot of pressure on m1 or m2. You might like the non heavy better if you get a mouse with stiff buttons like a zowie FK or ZA, otherwise it's probably no different. I only own the non heavy.

Will use it with the Logitech G Pro. Sounds good , hearing allot of complains about mousepad not being flat. How is yours?
