I really dont know. The resistance does seem low enough, but that just doesnt seem right from my experience. You can try it, but my guess is the manufacturers are fudging the numbers quite a bit.

It will corrode solder, not the resistor. But the LM should not touch the solder at all.

i just got pen and im not home but it doesnt feel as if it will work as well as liquid metal. i dont know squat just assuming. feels more inky than metal if that makes sense. Anyone try it yet? loops back apart as I'm doing second card tonight. Wanna get it right and use same stuff on both cards. I didn't do a good job on original as I was too worried about it falling over but it really isn't that hard at all. Will reapply tonight as I noticed my tdp jumping all over the place last night. It was lower but not consistent.

it made a very small difference and was a pain to take off one coat. I went back to LM. this time I put too much lol my tdp is inbetween 25-40 during stress. core clock doesn't jump around anymore and pleased currently with this option.

id say try to put a thin layer but i wasnt able to do that. it was like a glob so i just focused on making sure the entire metal was covered on both sides (top only). in the middle its pretty thick.

So the goal is just to get at least a layer touching both ends?

I heard Coollabratory Ultra spreads easier so maybe that's why people have an easier time applying it. Because Pro turns into a tiny ball and has higher tension from what i see in videos.

People apply Pro to a surface, it turns into balls and rolls a little bit lol.
