Thread Starter
i just got a msi pc mate h97 and i5 4570 for $150 (combined) slapped together my rig. sold my old parts but im longing for more speed :-D. i have done a couple searches and im not sure on the answer. i want to get a nvme ssd for my build because 850 evo is too potato and so is the dual sanddisk extreme pro in raid 0. i want moAR thus i ask. can/should i get a 950pro ( or any other nvme ssd totally open to suggestion ) as my main boot drive and install my os and be able to boot off of it? or is this a skylake only feature ?

Yeah you should be able to.
If you motherboards bios does not support booting nvme

you can add the modules to the bios yourself biggrin.gif
