No, both games are extremely pointless and meaningless games whos main feature is timesink.
This vs horizons both suffer the same issues, but atleast with nms, you're not forced to drive around in atmosphere-less planets in a dune buggey that still, after all this time, is prone to randomly exploding when its hull drops to 80%. I gave up on ED when i traveled 2000lys from occupied space just to have each of my srvs suffer from the bug, forcing me to have backtrack all the way back to buy new ones.
Exploring in ED has to be the worst ive ever experienced in a game.
No one seems to actually know how to make an engaging and fun space sim.
