Silverstone RVZ02B cpu cooler

Thread Starter
Im looking for a build with the RVZ02
and the major concern and the biggest problem is the CPU cooler. Will be using an 6700K overclocked slightly.

Ive been digging around the forums and there are a lot of pages about the case itself but not so much about the CPU cooler.
Im looking for the best temperatures, until now I came to these options, keep in mind the 58mm cooler clearance:

NH-L9x65 65mm height, Ive seen some ppl claming that its possible to fit this inside the RVZ02, but im not so sure
about it, does anyone have this cooler with this case to confirm it please? As far as temperature wise this is the best option.

Big Shuriken 2 Rev. B and a
FAN6X1TX3 fan between the heatpipes +15cfm, total 60CFM.
This is the option most probable to fit in the case, not sure if the best tough.

Phanteks PH-TC12LS + noctua fan, I believe this one or probably
a bigger one, but that would do around 70mm lol.

Overall Im not sure about this 58mm clearance as it also depends on the motherboard a bit, but could it be so relative that a NH-L9x65
would fit inside? What would be the best cooling option? Id take into consideration other cooler/heatsink combinations, of course:)

The 65mm noctua will not fit. Your choices are cryorig c7 for budget option, AR06 for compatibility, and big shuriken for best performance. There is about 3-5mm extra space when you use 58mm cooler. The Samuel 17 with a 140mm thermalright fan is likely to be best performer at a pricy $60 for the combo.

The fan dimmensions for the Samuel 17 is 12cm, how can you fit a 14cm fan? biggrin.gif
Maybe with some kind of adaptor?

I've also found probably the best 12cm slim fan by silverstone, the SST-FW141 driving up to 74CFM.

Just like the product you linked. It is a 140mm with 120mm mounting.
