As usual with all of your Windows posts, much ado about nothing. By rights there shouldn't even be a free upgrade anymore, and if you go to the trouble of upgrading now, 10 days should be more than enough to decide if you want to keep it or not.
At the same time, why change it in the first place? Why do these silly little things that have minimal impact either way, but make good click-bait headlines and will inevitably fuel the anti-MS rhetoric.
It's just like what I've said about the telemetry thing all along; if they just provided an option to turn it off completely, the small minority who really cares about privacy would be happy, and 99% of users would still click next, next, next and leave it on. It wouldn't have made any sort of significant dent in the amount of data MS would have been able to gather. Instead, the morons force telemetry on everyone, and that small - but very vocal - minority start to kick up a stink. Next minute there are headlines everywhere about Windows 10 telemetry, and it snowballs. Users who wouldn't have batted an eyelid are now concerned about the telemetry. All of this could have been avoided.
I swear MS doesn't have two brain cells to rub together when it comes to PR.
