They're using Ultra and 16xAF vs "High" on 2560*1440 and 8xAF?

lol how old can it be, it says final version of the game
they're running custom nvidia cards, not reference, and it's not the built-in benchmark but gameplay.

yes 980Ti beating 1070 seems to confirm your observation. you're one smart kid.

You do understand that in that review they are using pre-release version of the game, right? TPU is using the version that all ppl in the world is playing.

From TPU:
"We used the latest public Steam release version of Deus Ex, which includes the day one patch (not a press pre-release)."

it says final steam version

They are using version 1.0, so it is before the release-day patch
post #327 of 435
what version is tpu using ? I mean the number and build ? also, release day patch running slower than pre-release ? get your facts straight.

I have no idea, don't own the game. But patch adds new version usually...

Well, it seems it is the final version. I have no idea how results are so different. We will need to wait more reviews. I tend to believe TPU more tho.

A+ for reading once more. pcgh tests in-game,starting with the same save, while tpu just runs the in-built benchmark

well, let's just all agree the game doen't run so good, but for current standards it's still not that bad.
