It seems that you are looking for 60FPS minimum, which means that you are aiming for 90fps average or more. Honestly, RX 480 comes close to this in a lot of popular games. The ones that are not doable because of terrible coding or optimization you can just drop settings a notch, have pretty much zero display difference, and have a good experience. Then you have games like ARK, NMS, and a few others that just run terribly no matter how many zeroes are on the end of your rig's pricetag. And they look bad no matter what settings you choose to boot.
Dude i'm playing arkham city on lowest settings 1024x720 25-35fps (on this 512mb gt210) nowadays. even though i said myself no gaming till i complete my studies, i couldn't stop. and honestly i'm playing just fine and after first 20 minutes of gaming, i don't even care how it looks
. i don't even remember how it looked on 1080p ultra when i first played it on my gtx670 2-3 years ago.
and i'm a guy who has played most games on 120hz high-ultra in last 5 years. so yeah anything is enough if you actually need it. otherwise even 10x titanxp like single gpu isn't enough.
most of us can't even imagine life without electricity but 99% humanity lived without it. don't know where i'm going with this though
