EVGA DG-87 top panel removal

Thread Starter
I just got my dg87 in today, does anyone know how to remove the top panel? I feel so stupid, and when I try to just up and pull it off it feels like I'll snap it.

Don't have the case, but the manual says it should just snap off if you pull up.

Here's a link to the manual - http://www.evga.com/support/manuals/files/DG-8_Manual.pdf

One of the evga techs said start at the front clips and work your way back. They are on there pretty good apparently. I have my case but am waiting on my watercooling stuff in the mail. We should get our own owners club

I was interested in this case but I could tell it was cheaply made and way too big . Still curious to see other people's builds.

By no means would I describe this case as cheaply made. It looks and feels very well made. It has some flaws though. My first complaint is the fan controler is not pwm which annoys me. The second being that some of the proportions are odd. But overall a very nice build
post #8 of 13
I agree with GraveDigger, the case is only cheap if you are used to playing with the likes of In-Win aluminum and glass cases. But comparing it to like a 900D, or a Phanteks Primo, I think this case has a great build quality. Having PWM on the fan controller would be nice, and personally I would not get the case with the controller. Building in this case is actually pretty fun.... (Leak testing underway)

Wow that is a beautiful and clean looking build. I am a fan of white pastel coolant. I was planning to go industrial with mine and use rubber tubing and soft white accent lighting. I am waiting on some new radiators, I will be sure to send pictures. We need our own owners page!.
What radiators do you have Jassilamba?
In that build, I just used a slim magicool 420 in the front. The included 140 fans felt really nice and were super quiet so I decided to just stick with those. Was thinking of going with a 480 monsta in the front, but that kinda didn't work as well with what I had in mind for my build (looks over everything)

Thanks for your kind words. Full disclosure this is a review build and I like to review a case the way it's meant to be used.
