Well I have a new batch g303 cord (~2 weeks old) and it's stiffer than my G Pro (S/N 1628) imo

Also dry hands, don't sweat really, G pro is quite slippery for me.
G403 is perfect, and it also feels lighter then G pro, same feeling like KPM. KPM is 90g but it feels heavy because its in a small frame, same with G pro, its lighter then G403 but because of the small frame i feels heavier. G403 feels very light which I love.

However, It is to bulky for me, I tried it for several weeks now waiting for RMA (lol logitech), and I still love it, IF it only was a tad slimmer/thinner.
It is just to bulky for me to play well with, I have hard times when I require fast movements up, down etc (Play overwatch mainly, but same with Quake)

Its hard, the G pro feels heavy (the bad mouse cable might also contribute to this especially on a smaller mouse like G pro compared to G403)
It was so slippy for me so I had a hard time getting a really good grip on it while playing, felt it moving in my hand and had to re adjust my grip all the time ingame which is not that great.

Atm I don't really know.
I like them both but I also don't like them ;/

I whipped out my old logitech G1 and that shape is just sooo much better for me, really good grip, better straighter sides etc.
Sent the G pro back for refund, and will send the G403 back as well (G pro mouse button was kinda bad, and G403 sidebutton is little weird)
But I feel I cannot get used to a big mouse like G403, sadly.

And not sure If I wanna try and buy another G pro and try it for real several weeks (and skip a refund since I need to try it for more then 14 days)

Looks like you and I are in the same boat.

I usually palm my mice and my hands measure roughly 18 cm long (7 inches) , 10 cm (4 inches) wide.

Even coated with G Pro just now with some GT-5000 (Gun tape, bought my set from Amazon), it was neat to do; however, it only reaffirms my slippage concerns--coating is not working for my hands personally.

Although, the grip does help a little, the overall coating on the shell still feels like "moisture" and gets to a point where I have to wipe my hands which I have never done with any mice I've used.

Bottom line: I'm trying to love the G Pro as much as anyone else, but it's clearly not working for me personally, great sensor and all that stuff--I tried rolleyes.gif. Just writing this up I want to switch and adapt to the G403 or just keeping using my G303. G303 is bae.

Can you elaborate on that? I haven't heard nor experienced this. Thanks.

Interesting video. Personally, my two G303s have softer cables than the G Pro and G403.

Order of stiffness (high to low) that I currently experience: G Pro -> G403 -> G303. I think there's definitely variations going on here.

My unit? Braiding for some reason is actually slightly rougher. The cable is stiffer. I wouldn't doubt they just used the same cable as the G303 did. However, don't expect all cables to be the same. Which is why this occurs.

I saw it was talked about earlier in the G403 thread. But basicly, when I swipe horisontally the cursor/crosshair will actually go diagonally unless I hold the mouse in an unnatural way, atleast with my hand size (20,5x10cm).
Basicly, I have to hold it turned a little clockwise to compensate, which is not really comfy. Either with ring finger and pinky hanging of the right front, or a fingertip grip really far back.
*NOTE* This is with G403.

My g303 also had a more flexible cable, This one(g403) is so stiff that i can actually shape it like this __/ \__ so it doesn't touch my pad lol.

Complete opposite for myself, where the G303 cable could be used as a whip whilst the G403 was very soft and pliable.

For those that don't like the mousefeet I would like to suggest you test out the qpad uc 50. The ss heavy has been my goto for a few years now however the pro feels 'stuttery' on it, while the glide on the uc 50 is heavenly. With all other mice they have felt very similar, but not really with the pro.

Thanks for the reply.

Sounds like more a shape concern due to how you flick.

I can actually understand where you're coming from esp. if you prefer smaller/less wide mice like the FK2 or G100/G303, etc.

Just a tad bulkier to maneuver; however, Logitech really did design the G403 well--it's one of the best larger mouse I've used up to this point.

I would do things to have the G403's coating on my G Pro. redface.gifredface.gifredface.gif

I debraided the cable and it was a noticeable improvement.
