After so many years of complaining about Logitech's poor design choices it's impossible for me to not buy this on day one for full MSRP. My single purchase might not mean much but it's the only way I have of voting YES! MORE OF THIS!

Indeed. Now 'we' need a WMO shape (medium size, bit chubby, high front buttons, not stupid thumb grooves and indents, pretty much a carbon copy), 85 grams tops, and a IME3 shape (Tek Syndicate style, not too weird and 'ergonomic'), under 100 grams, no silly braided cable (or so good you wouldn't even know), then I for one will be prepare to forgive their misdeeds of the past 5-10 years.

They always had the best technical know-how, just poor marketing direction, trying to appeal to people easily distracted by shinny things. Granted, they are a large portion, if not the majority of the 'gamer' market, but then, there's always CM, MadKatz, Corsair for them.

The G Pro seems to be moving them in the right direction, they just need to keep going that way. Just needs a couple more sensible, generic shapes...

Chris also said they put 10th of September but it could be earlier. Gotta have some faith boys.

Hah? It's just an estimate, they don't know for sure when they come in and that's how it works or they would not have written it that way. I have no idea what you mean regarding it being accurate for less anticipated products given how this mouse isn't even relevant yet outside of overclock and I doubt you have any real basis to base such a statement on. either way, retail or logitech, everyone will get them at roughly the same time.

Yes it's an estimate given by wholesalers who gets the date from logitech. Do you not know how estimated dates work or? Estimated dates normally hold within +- 1-2 days unless the product faces a surge of preorders from the manufacturer which this product obviously won't since it has no reputation outside of this forum yet or production problems like with the 10 series GPU's.

My original post was intended to say that it is very likely it will be in peoples hands before the 10th.

And logitech could have said early september. Unless you again can show any form of data to prove otherwise regarding your 1-2 days rule which quite honestly is made up until then. thumb.gif

Looked more like your post said that if you wanted it early and lived in Sweden, that ordering it from the online store was faster. rolleyes.gif
post #327 of 1545
Of course there is no hard data to back that up, it's just from years of online shopping experience that estimated dates are correct in most cases.
Logitech couldn't have said early september for a product release, that would be the most unprofessional thing ever to do.

Nah it was more to point out that if all goes well it will be retailed earlier and also showing that the price seems to hold, well unless you get the student discount which brings it down 10%

Easily this, the new Sensei is probably going to flop like every other Stoolseries mouse and have some screwed up firmware.
