The new Sensei looks like it won't be worth the money.

On reddit, Logitech confirmed (23 hours ago) that shipments will start later this month:

"We are going to start shipping out late August, but it will depend on locale/retailer!"

I can only imagine the warranty issue: "mouse disintegrated while doing a 720 spin at the speed of light" or "my hand got a cramp from the weird shape".

If both shapes work for you (my case, I used a MX300 way back), this.

And honestly if you value low weight, you might as well get a Revel over a Sensei, great performance for the price.

Well we don't know the weight yet. I doubt it will be lower than 90g, but with the size difference a 90g mouse could actually feel lighter than an 84g one. Its no contest for me though as I like smaller mice. Also they could end up being over 100g. For the sake of there being more good mice I hope they are somewhere between 90-100g though.

The best part was the mouse technically withstood two hits with a sledgehammer and was still "useable". "Technically" because had the impact area been the front of the mouse I highly doubt it would have still been "useable".

To top it all off I ended up re-buying the mouse. I didn't update the firmware that time though.

A sledgehammer?

That beats my friend ripping the top shell and cord of a G100s.

You were mad enough to go to the shed and return with an effing sledgehammer to treat that mouse right?
