So dumb Blizzard turned off competitive for 3 weeks, I hate Quick Play and PTR. I'll be playing Battlefield One Beta by the time Season 2 starts, not sure if I'll be back to OW.

Either way, hope this mouse comes out soon!

They could have at least given us some sort of 1 hero limit mode to play with. Quick play and PTR aren't enough to keep me distracted from waiting for this mouse mad.gif .

Why would they shut down compr for 3 weeks? Hey Blizzard, you realize that your comp scene is still stabilizing, right? In other blizzard news, it would seem that the US servers are getting DDOS'd. I was about to level a new char too... mad.gif
I'm curious how much this will be when it's in stores (online or otherwise), if I pick it up I'd like to do it at my local Memory Express to price match it.

Competitive in PTR is literally 1HL QP, also you guys must play with pretty low sensitivities in Overwatch to be hitting the AM010's malfunction speed, I play 1000 DPI @ 6.00 in-game (23.09cm/360)

I play 1600*2.5 and that's about a 34cm/360. 500*6 should be a much higher cm/360, like 45cm.

I'm trying to transition from about 15cm/360 to a lower sens so I can move away from fingertip/wrist aiming to wrist/arm aiming. So far I've seen an improvement going to 30cm/360 (SR50 -> SR66 over a couple of weeks) but I feel like I need to go lower still because I'm still just using my wrist to aim and not using much of my arm...hence my wish for this new mouse because I don't wanna hit the malfunction point biggrin.gif

I use 400 CPI at 7.71 which is exactly 45cm/360. Used to be 65cm/360 for years until I got tired of it lol.

I'm using 400 @ 10 in ow and 400 @ 1.8 in CS

Seems to be the sweet spot for me in both games, I need to work on the CS one cause I raised it from 1.7 so it's not perfect yet - in OW need to work on soldier/tracer tracking a little and I'm doing that by swapping from claw to fingertip when people get 'too close range' and that seems to be working excellently - almost hit rank 80 last season so I plan to hit GM for s2 - it's definitely harder to do 'close range' tracking with small mice (g303 atm) but swapping to fingertip really helps you move any direction/be agile when needed.. and it's easy to swap from claw to that fast you basically just shove the mouse forward with your fingers and lift then you're in fingertip grip

I went down from 12 to 10 in OW cause I was putting in too much strength into tiny movements - now I haven't dropped below 67% accr on mccree in the past 6 matches so it's a huge improvement

Blizzard screwed up Overwatch entirely IMO. Not having hero limit and coinflip killed any desire I had to play the competitive mode ever. I may give it a second chance eventually, but my initial impression of the game is it is garbage. I may be one of the few people who strongly prefer DirtyBomb and TF2 to OW though. Ults are far too strong across the board IMO and it takes a lot of the shooter skill out of it and makes timing ults more important than actual mechanical skill in many cases.

Anyway IDK about other people, but I play with the same sens across the board. 800dpi and as close to 32.5cm/360 as possible. That was another thing that pissed me off in OW. I think they fixed it, but you couldn't properly set your sensitivity in game at all at first because your choices at normal sensitivities were huge changes. I couldn't decide between 5 and 6 or something ridiculous like that which is a 20% difference.

1 hero limit is in place, and coinflip is gone for season 2 - you can also use decimal sensitivities now

I use diff sens for diff games - if I feel I need higher or lower I adjust, doesn't seem to bother muscle memory at all (unless I change it in a game where I've used the same one for a long time - that really disrupts it.. but it's as if your mind knows which game you're playing and just remembers how much movement it needs to go from A to B
