What? There's a hero limit in competitive.

You know that all that sensitivity stuff was patched a LONG time ago, right? You can have more precise values now.

Wasn't that long ago, probably about a month. I am actually considering dropping down into the high 20cm/360 range as Genji can be such a pain in the ass to deal with at low sens.

I use diff sens for diff games - if I feel I need higher or lower I adjust, doesn't seem to bother muscle memory at all

Well I should have said give it a 3rd chance to be honest. I did give it a 2nd already when they add 1 hero limit and I played a few matches, finished attack 8 minutes or something absurd left on gibraltar, they just barely got it in OT, and then won the coinflip, and I said screw this game why would anyone call this competitive and haven't played since.

Using different sens for different games totally screws me. The game I play the most and am actually probably the best at of any game I play is Rainbow 6 Siege and I feel like I should use a higher sens because for small corrections you are usually ADS with a lower sens anyway, but I just can't adjust since I still play CS some. Every time I try to flick and basically quickscope (not exactly, but same basic concept) headshot someone with a higher sens I just completely fail.

Or you can just drop sensitivity only for tracer and genji.

Yes, but they are taking forever to fix things that should have been sorted out day 1 of the beta. I'm not going to keep playing a game that is utter crap for that long waiting for it to get better, or not realize it is utter crap because they fixed some huge flaws while leaving others.

I think he means tracking them while playing other characters is a pain.

Edit: And just to be clear what I'm talking about I still think the game is crap currently because of coinflip. That makes the competitive mode the biggest joke of a competitive mode I've ever seen in any game I've played.

You need to practice muscle memory - but actually practice it.. Best way to do this is in game of choosing go into training maps (if offered) or into FFA's or matches that mean nothing - and instead of trying to get your shot off 'fast' instead aim at the target and MAKE SURE the shot will hit - even if you die just keep repeating. This builds muscle memory because you're ensuring you're landing on the target and your brain is remember the distance you moved to get to that target - after doing that for so long you'll be able to get to those targets QUICKER and still being ACCURATE.. I use to struggle with aiming until I really began practicing it.. not just by playing but actually practicing - it's how I got good at awping, I stopped going for quick flicks and all that crap and just went into FFA DM and made sure the crosshair was on target before firing always - also always FOCUS on your crosshair.. don't go into 'auto pilot' mode where you're just gaming.. focus on where the crosshair is while also making sure it's on target

Do this while not changing sensitivities/mouse/mousepad and you will see BIG improvements in 1-2 months.. of course there's more to the games than aiming but once you have aiming down you can work on mechanics like positioning/movement and so fourth

I play the same as I do in CS. 800 DPI @ 2 sens in Overwatch. Having a different sens in the games completely screwed me over I noticed so my overwatch performance will have to suffer.

The thing is I can practice all I want, but at this point for those type of shots my flicks always go back to my CS sensitivity. I can hit every shot where I have a bit of time fine at higher sens. The ones I miss are the ones where I absolutely have to aim before I ADS to get a quick shot off. Quite a lot of my shots in R6S involve aiming before ADS, and then hit m2, then m1 immediately after, and R6S is almost entirely about HS.

Right, tracking them. But really, more like getting my hand stuck somewhere awkward on my pad from bad lift/place decisions after multiple 180s.

I didn't play competitive S1 because of the coinflip either, but I still have fun goofing around and practicing aim in QP.

Same cm/360 or same sens? 800DPI @ 2 sens in Overwatch is absurdly low
