So as someone who doesn't really follow mice a whole lot. What's the selling point of this mouse? I'm not here to hate on anyone's opinions or tell you what to like but for instance, I got a G700s a few months ago, I love it, it's amaaaazing (outside picking it up is irritating due to the batter causing one end to be heavier). Does everything I need but for 10 bucks less?

Like I said, I don't know the whole inside and out of mice like some of you do so that's why I'm wondering. Cause to me, this mouse looks basic as hell. I assume the mouse has a hella sensor in it, that's all I can really gather?

Like I said, I'm not bashing anything, just looking to be school'd here.

simplicity, more or less. so you're basically right ("basic").
plain scroll wheel (no tilting or free scroll), only 2 side-buttons, good sensor. but from what i can tell from reviews/opinions, everything seems above-average quality (nice scroll wheel, nice buttons, nice coating..)

check out Ino his review if you want to know exactly what to expect. obviously he is biased because he actually likes/uses it, but he goes over what the mouse is all about.
for what you get, it's not cheap, but that's how it is with "gaming mice"

It's a very different shape compared to the G700s, so you can't really compare the two mice. It's not built for "palm-grip" where you have your whole hand resting on the mouse. It's a lot smaller and is built for people that like to have a gap between some parts of the palm and the mouse, and perhaps like to rest some parts of their hand (like thumb, pinky, back of the palm) on the mouse pad instead of the mouse. This style of mouse is a bit rare with good innards, so that might be where this mouse being a big thing and producing a lot of posts comes from. You could usually only get cheap (perhaps crappy) mice with this kind of shape.

There's some rumours of a "G403" going around. That one might be comparable to your G700s as it might be a similar size.

The name should tell you what the selling point is.

I've been using it on and off since release, back to it again atm, and I can safely say that it beats a ZA13 and many more overpriced mice for me. a) shapewise and b) because the sensor does perform equally.

Mine has the worst main buttons I've ever seen, a LOD that is far too high, makes squeaking noises when pressed and doesn't glide well.

It mainly angers me because it's so sad.
