Definitely all are not 120hz. I did see a GTX1060 laptop that only goes up to 75hz in the video below. Other 1080p laptops that dont state refrsh rate would be 60hz i assume, not sure. Reviews sites and even manufacture specs of these laptops are really unclear about the max refresh rates on these laptops.

Gsync LCD option ($50 extra) and/or external monitor will fair well with a nVidia M1060 and above at 1080P or 2K

EDIT AFTERTHOUGHT:
If a Gsync LCP option is only $50 extra on a laptop, why are Gsync external LCD $200/$300 higher than Freesync? I'm hearing a bad rap. . . thinking.gif

yep the fact its only $50 extra as an option makes me wonder why its just not standard in all of them honestly. companies are so retarded. >.>

So for those who are scrooges such as moi, here is path I went

Base Model + IPS/Gsync + Killer 1535 (for sake of MU-MIMO and because of compatible router... plus this would be WAY pricier to upgrade later) + Kept 8GB Ram option + Removed HDDs then!!!! Newegg side order: 16GB DDR4 2400 Ram (2X8) $65 ...Yes... 24GB Ram for same price of just 16 through Xotic woo! Cannibalized from GE62 that was reverted to stock (always keep old stuff around) 2 2TB M9T, 512GB Sandisk X400 for storagey goodness.

So very happy right now with performance per dollar squeezed for this lappy even though "free fedex shipping" is not kicking in (pretty sure FL is part of lower conus48 xotic...)

So how much did it end up costing you total (not including the stuff you already had such as storage) smile.gif

$1419 Roughly. I decided if cash discount was worth it but its not... the 5-10 day lead time all to save like $15 after your wire transfer fees is just not worth the wait plus wire back costs if anything is wrong with the system isnt fun to deal with. + Student discount is 1% and overrides free shipping so also not worth it.

very nice.

don't forget to go into Nvidia control panel and try to OC to 100hz. it prob will work fine and gsync will still work as well, at least it did on my 980m laptop i overclocked.

Managed to get to person on build/support instead of sales team and only got a "its a maybe" for ips panels being 120 but they will def run 75hz stock for gsync so 100 to 120 wouldnt be much of a stretch.

However the stock panel is 60hz only
