If your S7 is the GSM model with the Snapdragon processor (the US version), I'm looking to buy one.

I have the International version (Exynos). The battery life is better on the Exynos version than the Snapdragon version if you look at the benchmarks online.

You're right about that. Unfortunately the Exynos doesn't have the SignalBoost feature I'm interested in. I work in an area with very poor reception. frown.gif

The sensor size is the same but pixels are bigger on Note 7. In reality on perfect light 16 MP will be better but if you take 100 different photos a sensor that gets more light in will get sharper images and more light in. Also aperture is harder on Note 7 + one of the fastest dual pixel focus.

Looks like it has that same stupid glass backing as the S7/Edge. Mine flew out of my pocket - probably because of the slick, fragile glass backing - about one foot off the ground onto my wooden patio and it shattered. It was incredibly infuriating, especially since my case came in the day after =/.

Luckily I got mine through work and dont really care (have insurance). But beware, I wouldn't even chance it naked temporarily.

(TL; DR: Gorilla Glass 4 sucks just as much as regular glass and they decided to wrap the device in it)

Right, I should have added that the sensor seems to be better on the 7.

I was able to play with this phone in person. Rounded edges and curved screen. The construction is very solid, feels like holding a metal bar lol. Materials are above and beyond the typical note construction. Coming from a note 4, this is a day 1 upgrade for sure.

God, I dropped my old lg g2 and note 4 without a case like 350+ times each in every angle imaginable (as well as a toilet accident). Screen has yet to break and edges have yet to Crack! Oddly enough the only damage on my note 4 screen is from putting it in my pocket next to keys. Yet my chick's iPhone inexplicably shattered from a 1 foot drop (day 1 sadly) as well. I wouldn't even dare use these newer phones without a case anymore!
