Camera shootout Note 5 vs Note 7 vs S7 edge.

Interesting read. I personally don't like that the new phones went to a 4:3 aspect ratio and much prefer the widescreen shots of my Note 5. I also am not super excited by the downgrade in resolution of the sensors on the S7 and Note 7 from 16 megapixels on my Note 5 but the images for all three phones look great as is usual for Samsung devices. The camera on my Note 5 has easily been far and away the best camera on a phone I have ever seen and has been an absolute joy to use day in and out over the past year. I expect the Note 7 is just that much better (but the lack of widescreen shots is a bummer for me)...

I still have my note 3 and it's amazing with the note 7 port rom

There is no need for me to upgrade, games still seem laggy

I may get an iPhone 7

Using Note 7 rom on Note 3 and expecting games to run better.

Yes, with your knowledge you're better off with iPhone.

Wait I did not say that mate

I said note 7 still has low fps in games

What I meant was note 7 rom made this phone a better experience and I don't see a reason to upgrade.

Might give it to my ex-wife who is still using an HTC One M8, but she doesn't really like big phones so we'll see. Either way, the Note 7 will be mine very soon and I can't wait!

Maybe I can come buy it from you in cash this December (if it's AT&T or unlocked)

(Price may be lower at that point depending on the market though)

LOL I find it funny that people are arguing over lag when launching insane games, or browsing servers thousands of miles away connecting via magic on what should technically be a calling box calculator in the palm of your hand... people will never be happy with what they have. Which is why I look up at sky when I'm high out of my mind at night. My telescope puts things into perspective, NONE OF THIS REALLY MATTERS. biggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gifthumb.gif

PS. i'm pretty content with my LG V10, but i'm going to jump on the GN7 if it turns out to be a good phone.

Note 7 can lag just by opening hangouts....

Not trying to bash the Note 7. It's a great phone with an amazing display but Touchwiz is still heavy on the resources.

I dont have any issues with my note 7 in fact i very much love it. But i certainly understand the people that pick flaws and complain about it only because its a $900usd device. When you market somethung at such price people will automatical set the expectations extremely high. So yea i dont blame anyone for complaining about lag in some games or any other issues they are having with it.

Yeah, I just force closed Hangouts, then opened it, went to home screen and then accessed it from recent apps. Opened up 5 different conversations with 100+ message (and picture) long convos with no lag whatsoever. Tread lightly with what you read on the net; regardless of what website it's on.
