You can get 1tb of space for about 10 dollars a month. You don't need to have your entire movie collection on your phone. ROMs are pretty small in file size so I'm unsure at what you really need all that space for.

I mean the complaints you guys have are abysmal at best. I don't own the note 7 so I'm not going to comment on the lag, but my note 5 has been snappy since I've got it... Then again I am rooted running custom frameworks so I guess my experience may differ from others.

It's kind of getting really old to see people hop on hate trains when they don't even own the phone making terrible points based upon SOMEONES experience... just stop
Like what a terrible post this is... Oh you're customizing your phone and talking about it on OVERCLOCK.NET? Kinda dumb no? LOL!

SEIZE OVERCLOCKING FOLKS.

KINDA DUMB YOU HAVE OVERCLOCK A 2,000 DOLLAR COMPUTER.

Everyone ALWAYS swaps out touchwiz regardless of whether or not there is lag. The whole point of the android platform is it's customization. It's the first thing I do when I buy a new phone, even if touchwiz runs flawlessly.

OCN is train wreck now a days. I'm astonished.

You may have unlimited data where you live, but I do not. I rip my Blurays to my PC and archive them in 4-8GB files. Rather than convert them each time, I'd rather put a reasonably sized BD rip onto my phone instead. That fills up quick. I also have a library of music that I always like to have with me (that gets listened to quite often) that I don't have on Spotify. On my iPhone, that library consisted of about 50-60GB alone. Also, when the time comes that you cannot access your cloud storage due to having no signal, being at your data cap, or having the worst Wifi connection in the world, it's helpful to have the stuff you'd want most to be easily accessible.

I skipped the Note 5 because it didn't have a 128GB option. It's not even the fact that it wasn't offered, it was the fact that the S6 variants had the option. I'm not a big proponent for removable batteries...I'm rather neutral and I'll take the IP68 rating over that any day of the week.

I may have the luxury of living in a more urban area with unlimited data I guess. I guess IMO - I can't see myself ever watching an hour and a half movie with my phone on a regular basis to run into the issue of having multiple blu-rays on my phone. With how easy streaming music and movies is, I could never be bothered with the hassle of ripping movies and putting them on my phone.

I guess it really depends on where you live and how much data you have available. T-mobile runs flawlessly in my area. I can easily stream 1080p youtube videos with very little buffering except for right in the beginning. For me, the unlimited plan is a no brainier. I consume roughly 50gb a month. Mostly Youtube and Google Music.

Cloud storage is amazing though. Any pictures or videos I take go right to Google Drive and I instantly have them on all my devices. Can't beat that. It's saved me many times as well with documents I thought I lost but were saved to Google Drive.

As far as the Note 7 is concerned, I'll be skipping this iteration just because the screen is usually what gets me to throw all my money away... but, the note 5 screen looks just as good IMO.. Can't really tell much of a difference... definitely not a notable difference that would warrant spending hundreds.

You might try and read my previous posts instead of trying to insult me. Not sure why I'm bothering with you. Doesn't seem like you can hold a decent convo.

No lag whatsoever in any app that I have used (and I run several launchers with add-ons on my phone). I think you're just buying into sensationalism; Touchwiz is vastly scaled back nowadays on Samsung devices...

Well the CPU in Note 7 is faster but for Note 5 CPU was the fastestes last year for Android. I do not think the CPU does too much beyond a certain point in Smartphone. It has more to so with Storage and the speed for that seem to be UFS 2.0. This would result in very similar "feel" between the 2 phone. I think the main difference between Samsung and Stock Android is probably the CPU Governors and GPU Governors.

I think it plays a big role in ability to play games but the reality is just like Intel's iterations mobile CPUs don't advance too much in a years time. I think the every other year is the best bet for people who love having the best phones.

Seriously, especially as I would rather make my own cloud than rely on some random third party over which you have no control. I can easily set up a cloud server with my media server and use that to stream my music, films, images and everything else. If you have a spare PC (even a cheap dual core like mine will do) with at least 2GB RAM you can easily create your own always on media/cloud server.

No, I just don't like when people post false information. Saying a camera is inferior because it has less megapixels is the most uneducated statement you could ever make in the world of photography. Thus, why are you speaking upon the topic?

I don't know how else to spell it out any clearer than that.

I can easily set up a cloud server with my media server and use that to stream my music, films, images and everything else. If you have a spare PC (even a cheap dual core like mine will do) with at least 2GB RAM you can easily create your own always on media/cloud server.

Great, that's even better. For me, no need to have my own cloud because Google Drive works great and fits my needs.
