Samsung includes a 256GB SD card as one of the promotions for pre-ordering the phone.

Not that Note 5.

Riiiiight

I don't want whatever you're smoking

If it wasn't for Samsung, iPhones would still have a 3.5" screen, and errrr nvm, you're still gonna argue for Windows & IOS

Thinking of upgrading my Note 5 to this but don't like the new camera at all. No more widescreen shots, the pics look like iPhone now. Still, usb-c is where it's at and the Note 7 has a bigger battery as well. Wonder when Spigen will come out with a case for it?

I bought a note 4 n910c 3 weeks ago. I ordered a F model but luckily the send a C model with faster CPU but slower GPU. Not going to use it much for gaming though. I had planed to buy a used one for more than 6 month, but did not trust the warranty from the companies because of  the complexities phones have. The saving on the white model was too small.

I have already dropped it twice on it's back and my white case has gotten some bad scoff marks on it. I stayed on my Nokia N8 for 4.5 years so this should serve me for 4! I wonder how the market will be then?

I have used it mostly for listening to Libravox books, old SF :) partly due to bad neck. But it is also nice to check email and OCN after chiropractor so I do not have to swing under my monitor and keyboard I have set up. A computer should be used laying down:D.

wow that's bad. massive downgrade over previous gorilla glass versions. all GG5 phones will look completely scratched after a few weeks, just like plastic screen phones we had 12 years ago. was improving shatter resistance really that important to make "glass" almost like plastic. doh.gif

Nice phone with a great screen but ever since I jumped to the iPhone 6s Plus it's been difficult to go back to Android. iPhone always works and works well. No lag, good battery life and no worries of not receiving the latest OS update. Customer support is amazing as well. I can walk into an Apple store and they'll hand me a brand new replacement phone.

As a Note 4 owner, it feels like I'm never going to upgrade unless my current phone literally breaks. This thing has everything I will ever need thumbsupsmiley.png

iPhone 6S is a phone model.
Android is an operating system.
"Works well" is completely subjective, and lag / battery life / OS updates vary greatly between brands and models.

I'm glad you're enjoying your iPhone, but most of what you said made no sense at all headscratch.gif

Works well as in I have 0 issues and no lag even though I'm constantly pushing it. That clear enough for you to understand?

I had the Note 4 and it would eventually lag here and there and sometimes freeze or crash. I had a couple of them so it wasn't an isolated issue. Touchwiz lags and it's common. I moved onto the Samsung S6 Edge and it was the same story with even worse battery life. Also owned the Note 2 and 3 among other Android phones. I still own the original Android phone which still works so I'm no fanboy.

Spigen already has cases for the Note7 (a week ago is when I checked their website), I just ordered my Rugged Armor Case for my black Note7 about 4 days ago!

I also ordered the Metal Kickstand. I'm going to use it together with the rugged case! I'll probably place it on the faux carbon fiber at the bottom (maybe).

http://www.spigen.com/collections/galaxy-note-7

EDIT: I ordered through the ebay page since it is way cheaper! I paid $11 bucks instead of $20 for the rugged armor! thumb.gif

I also ordered from VRS Design (formerly Verus) ---> https://vrsdesign.com/collections/galaxy-note-7. I got the Simpli Lite Series ! I also ordered this via ebay since it's cheaper!

I also got the Ringke Fusion for the Note 7 in smoke color! Hopefully all 3 cases are enough! tongue.gif

For me, the nexus line is the only option now when I'm shopping for a phone (tablets too)

Agreed. I remember thinking that Touchwiz on the S6 and the eventual S7 was super smooth, but I skipped out on the Note 5 because of the 64GB limitation on storage. I went into Best Buy a week or so ago and used the Note 7 for around 15 minutes and new I wanted to pre-order it....so I should have mine as soon as Best Buy opens tomorrow morning. I have a feeling they're not going to have any of those MicroSD cards in stock on day 1, but I have hope redface.gif.

I've had this happen on every single phone I've ever had, but not to the extent that it was consistent, constant and unusable. Anecdotal evidence is exactly that--anecdotal. Your or my experience alone is inconclusive.

For reference, those phones include, but are not limited to:
iPhone 3G, iPhone 4, Galaxy S2 Skyrocket, Moto Razr M, Nexus 4, Note 2, Galaxy S3, iPhone 5, Galaxy Note 3, Nexus 6, iPhone 6, iPhone 6S Plus
