Help with new Sapphire RX480 8GB: Computer crashes when gaming

Hi,

I bought a RX 480 a few hours ago to replace my long lasting 7870 XT. Installed everything (newest drivers included) but every time I open a game like Witcher 3 or Fallout 4 I get ridiculously low FPS and the computer shuts itself down.

I thought my PSU would be the problem but it's a Corsair TX650, which is not the best but far from the worst?

Here are my specs:

- FX 8350 PSU (not OC)
- Sapphire RX 480 8GB
- Asus M5 A97 R2.0 motherboard
- Corsair TX650 PSU

Anything would help at this point please, I am going nuts!

UPDATE: It is also worth noting that the card seems very hot even at idle...

I feel like a complete moron. There was a little piece of plastic stuck in the GPU fan preventing it from rotating, hence making it crash under load. Everything is up and running smoothly! Thank you for the support!
