I'm actually more trusting of Nvidia at this point. All I can ever remember them explicitly cheating on was 3dmark 03.

They love to raise prices sure but performance has always been there since 3dmark 03 and the GeForce FX disaster. What an awful awful card that was.

I know it got stomped by the 9700 pro but I'm fairly certain I remember the TI 4600 beating it in some benchmarks as well.

NV building brand recognition, nothing unusual.

Just let them devour each other.

Of course NV doesn't like competition to it's top tier expensive GPUs they try to market for scientific computations.

Nvidia seems to have a kneejerk reaction to Intel's benchmark. Probably just someone over at Nvidia feeling kind of butthurt and couldn't stomach it from intel.

Intel began talks with AMD for licensing gcn, apple pushed cuda out of their pcs, now this....i guess nobody wants proprietary CUDA in their ecosystem

I can't wait to see Intel responding to this, Nvidia is a huge company but so is Intel, deep learning is deep and Nvidia is all in, nobody touches their precious.

The link in the OP already has a response from Intel
Quote:
It is completely understandable that Nvidia is concerned about Intel in this space. Intel routinely publishes performance claims based on publicly available solutions at the time, and we stand by our data.
