[Newegg] CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD - 900 Watt PFC Sinewave UPS - $150 after $65-off promo code - Page 2

Just got it in. Weighs a bit but excellent quality.

After 30 minutes of playing Forza Apex, went back to desktop and the breaker tripped, PC and internet remained on. thumb.gif

Also for the first time I can check inbound and outbound wattage. Thanks again OP.

Lol we both got it at the same time. biggrin.gif

I'm loving the cute little powerpanel app. The app even reports the wattage being used by all your devices. Some reviewers say the unit comes uncharged, but when I got it, it was fully charged and ready to go.

But besides being just a battery backup, the automatic voltage regulation provides cleaner, more stable power to your devices than the voltage coming in through the outlet can provide, according to some reviewers, who hooked up a scope to the unit.

correct! i plan getting more of these because i don't think the APC units are pure sine. I got one of these on eBay week or 2 ago brand new for $80 shipped but, it's snail mail from Canada.

The APC units use a stepped sine wave to achieve an approximated, or simulated sine wave.

Thanks for the info! So far the APC units work for me but, pure sine is still probably a good thing to have. i'd probably just reuse the APC units for less critical things.
