Zowie FK1 or DM1 S?

So after using the Rival for a couple of months, I wanted to give ambidextrous mice a try. Any idea which one of the two I should get? Other suggestions are welcome.

It all depends on your grip style and size of hand. I've used both (well the sensei actually wich has the same dimensions as the DM Pro S) and I prefer the sensei shape more since it feels more comfortable and controlable, it fills my hand better since its wider. For reference my hand is 18.5cm long and 10.8cm wide, I have a hybrid palm/claw grip where the base of my palm sits tighly on the mouse while my index and medium fingers are a little bit curved on the buttons; on the fk1 the middle part of my hand is in the air because the fk is lower on the center while on the sensei I get a better grip and thus getting a better feeling of comfort and "maneuverability" at the same time.

Hope it helps

My FK1 has better buttons. Crisper, more consistent, maybe a little bit stiffer.

But I much prefer the DM1 shape. Has a marginally better wheel too (still, not great). Side buttons better on Zowie.

In all honesty, if you're not in a hurry ('trying things out'), wait for the G Pro. Should have decent shape, and good button / sensor combination.

My hand size is 19cm long and 8.8cm wide. I usually go for a hybrid palm/claw grip or relaxed palm (due to the 300 shape). FK1+ looks interesting due to it's wider shape. I do like that the DM1 is slightly raised compared to the FK and Sensei.

I would personally go for the FK2 or the ZA13 because my hand is a little bit wider than yours and the FK1 feels too big for me to get a good grip on it. But honestly, above all I would either wait for the logitech G pro or get the logitech g303. the shape that they have allow you to get a good grip on it and make aiming much easier with that hand size.

Based on your hand size and grip style, I'd say you would be more comfortable with the FK1 as long as you don't have an issue having the middle of ur palm in the air, this is going to be more notorious in the FK1 because it is lower there. In a relaxed palm/claw grip, your hand is going to form an arch in that area unless you grip the mouse slightly different than me.

For me it's not a problem since most of the job to get a nice grip is done by the base of my palm so secure the back of the mouse and my fingers on the side, as you'll see in pic bellow, my thumb isn't that curved but relaxed and my little and ring finger are touching each other in a relaxed way as well but firmly holding the side of the mouse.

Now my little finger is weirdly place under my ring finger because my hand is wide and the FK1 narrow, that's why I don't think you could be comfortable with a wider FK1+

Btw apologies for the pics quality

The reason why i don't suggest the fk1 or the dm1 for your hand size is because its a bit too wide in the front for you to get full control of the mouse. I have a 19/9.5 cm hands and i own an FK1 and a G303, and the FK1 always felt a bit too big for me to aim. When i got my G303 i IMMEDIATELY noticed a huge difference in my aim because the front of the g303 isn't as wide and has a \ / shape.

Its personal preference, my hand are about 19 to 19,5cm and to me the ec2a and za11 feels a bit small, and I prefer the fk1+
