Depends on the case. You need either a full custom water loop or at the minimum an elite air cooler like Noctua NHD15. You can use an AIO water cooler like Corsair H100 etc but you better have airflow over the mb socket area.

Any chance you might be willing to share even the slightest amount of information about your build? It's impossible to make a recommendation without knowing what fits and what other components it will need to interact with.

My case is a fractal design r5. My graphics card is an r9 295x2.

I guess that's one power hungry chip so defenitly atleast a good air cooler like the NH-D15.

An EK water block with a 360 or 480 xe rad for future GPU blocks.

Not sure what temps you're comfortable with, but here's a list that could work. If you keep the volts under 1.35-ish and don't run LinX/P95/IBT:

Recommended:
EK Predator 360
Swiftech H320 X2 Prestige

Recommended with modifications:
Fans recommended:
http://www.overclock.net/t/1558892/for-sale-delta-afb1212she-pwm-12v-fans-120x38mm-new/0_100
Noctua IPPC 3000rpm 120/140mm
Thermalright TY-143

D15/S
Cryorig R1
PH-TC14PE
U14S
TRUE 140 Power
HR-22
Le Grande Macho
Run of the mill 240mm+ AIO
Semi-Custom liquid coolers (namely EK Predator 240 and Swiftech H220 Prestige
49mm thick 120 AIO (a la H80i V2)

Of all of these, I've tested the D15S, PH-TC14PE, U14S, HR-22, Nepton 280L, H80i GT, IPPC 3000rpm 140mm and Deltas. All of the coolers I've tested perform roughly the same (~3C margin) using the faster fans. With my H80i GT with deltas, I'm getting ~20C deltas on my 1.3v 4930K (around 55C load using RealBench), so there's a bit more thermal headroom with two more cores. But again, it largely depends on the voltage, and if the chip can even get to 4.7 without requiring gobs of volts. If true, then you'd be best investing in a custom loop or slap on some faster fans on the above 360mm units. I think the EK Predator can take P/P, while the Swiftech is only Push or Pull.

I'm sorry I can't give you more in-depth temps because we're talking about TONS of variables at play, but this should give you a better idea of what's necessary to control an overclocked 5960X.
