Plus when they do make games which console will be the priority? The 50 million Xbox ones or the newly released Scorpio? Personally i want them to be making games for the new system only and save all the crap PC games get, No Mans Sky is the perfect example.

What people are forgetting about these new consoles is that they are basically cheap htpc's at this point. They can easily have a high and low settings that is applied when it realizes what console it is in. This is not hard on these systems and this will continue to be the case moving forward.

Forza 4, project gotham, guitar hero 3, forza horizon - and of course all the backwards compatible original xbox games. Ninja Gaiden, etc.

They are all mostly PC games. Ive played most of the above and can tell you now i wouldn't even consider playing any today. Yes they were good at the time but not today, the visuals and game mechanics are laughable.
Classics? What! Like Pong.

After playing Forza 6 how can you seriously play Forza 4? I just dont undertand? I suppose it depends on what type of games you like personally i dont like any of the above games apart from Forza 4, good at the time but wouldn't be playing it still today lol

So what do you personally play? As far as I'm concerned most new games are now ridiculously easy for one. Then factor in the sheer dreaful amount of QTEs and over simplified aspects of them now... I mean look at Skyrim a game from 2011 even compared to Morrowind from 2002.

Morrowind: Here is a hint to where you need to go in your journal, please decipher it and use your brain to figure it out. This will involve reading, hopefully you know how as I know schools are really pushing no child left behind these days.

Skyrim: You need to go HERE. LOOK, HERE, SIR IT'S ON THE MAP, YOU CAN EVEN FAST TRAVEL TO IT!!! If for some reason you can't figure that out, just follow the little arrow on top of your screen to your destination. Isn't that fun?

Blah.

My nephew has the Forza's on Xbone and I'm just not impressed. I have Apex on my PC and I even go back to 4 more than it. 4 feels fluid and is more fun. Just as project gotham racing 2 on the original xbox is the greatest arcade racer IMO. It was fun and it just felt right. Even to this day I'll fire it up over a lot of new games.

Witcher 3
Bloodborne
Dark Souls 3
The Last of Us
Uncharted 4
Forza 6
Mortal Kombat
GTA 5
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Trails Fusion
Fallout 4

All modern games that i have finshed and will not play again, unless remastered versions are made available on new consoles. I'll just wait for the sequels to hit instead of playing them over and over because that seems boring and pointless, kinda like watching a film 5 times within a year.

The point isn't to play games over and over every year... But to revisit them after time has gone by. I can understand why the games you listed really aren't worth playing over, most of them are over hyped. GTA 5 / FO4 and Forza 6 can all be played countless hours IMO though. GTA V and F6 offer online atleast.

I just don't see VR ever taking off for mainstream gaming. It's going to be another Wii U controller / Kinect / etc... if M$ is banking on VR to sell their Scorpio, I don't think it's going to go anywhere.

Ok, not going to lie, I've been replaying a good deal of the games listed in the last few weeks alone...in fact I spend more time on old games than new games at this point

When I first created this account I would have said no, but I first created this account eight years ago so... yes, at least for an overclocking forum I'm an old fart.

I've been overclocking PC's for over 20 years, long before forums even existed. I'm still an amateur (I think we all are going by the amount of chips LN2 clockers buy and kill just to hit a world record) but I enjoy it.

True, I haven't replayed Witcher I since release of Witcher II and I really want to pull my hair out when playing Privateer II as the bugs drive me crazy. Imagine arriving at a plant after flying for 15 minutes only for the game to crash to desktop before you can save. Sadly no game has been able to recreate the same setting so I try to play it anyway.
