If that is the case I think amd is scoring a bit low on the steam survey as amd has 20% of the cpu share, a portion of which is people with amd apu's as their cpu / gpu. so basically amd integrated graphics.

No, if you look at AMD's CPU market share in steam survey http://store.steampowered.com/hwsurvey/processormfg/

You will see over 14%(out of 22%) are CPU over 3 Ghz stock which are probably FXs instead of APUs. Also if the PC have a dGP the iGP won't be detected by steam.

If only they could have released that Vega 11 now...

I would have to expect Vega by October with Custom cards for those chips that matter to be available by November.

I have a limit around September. Ive been waiting for so long now and cant wait much longer.
If only AMD atleast presented the card(s) and gave me a headsup when its arriving. That would be great

Id gladly support AMD since they have made me a lot of money and I like supporting the underdog

It does seem like it yes.
Well dang that sucks. Probably just get a 1080 and be done with it I suppose.

No you are reading correctly. smile.gif

The difference to peoples idea about me and my own opinions, is that I wont settle for a crappy FX APU or a crappy RX 480 or a mediocre Fury X. Those are bad options and Im not afraid to speak my mind about them

I think ppl see DX12/Vulkan games and how well AMD cards are doing against NV counterparts (DOOM) is the biggest reason for the market-share gain. And we already have a decent number of DX12 games.

Also, I am not bothered that Vega is 2017. I need to buy CPU (Zen) first anyway. 290 is good enough to hold up another 6 months
