All of these coolers are better more quiet and more reliable then the H100 is

You can even get coolered covers for the Cryorig if you dont like how it looks
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=CRYORIG+CUSTOMOD+Cover+for+R1&N=-1&isNodeId=1

The Be Quiet Dark Rock does not seem to be sold on newegg but you might be able to find it elsewhere so thats also an option

All of the coolers are better then that you have now so those are upgrades
You can off course get coolers that are cheaper but then you just get the same or less performance

I would probably go with the Phanteks as its the cheapest and it also comes in other colors if you like that.

How would a Hyper 212 EVO compare with the H100?

if you over clock the cpu then don't use the hyper 212.
if you don't over clock then it's a good cooler for the money.
myself I am a Noctua user for all my cooling.
the coolers shilka linked are all very good.

The H100 is receiving power but I do not feel anything when I touch it. I guess this means it's broken?
The pump is probably dead. This is a fairly common failure for AIO coolers. I experienced the same thing with a Nepton 140XL. I'm sticking with air coolers from now on.

is there any air coolers comparable to these that are about 10mm shorter? my case only allows for 154mm, and these are all >160.

if i have to upgrade my case im going with a custom loop, but if i could put something like that in it i might not have the need to.

Looking at the case you have i would just upgrade
It looks very cheap and there is almost nothing that is modular nor is there even rubber on the cable grommets
