Sell Default Case Fans?

Thread Starter
So do you guys sell the case fans that come with ur cases or do you keep them to sell them with ur case at a later date?
Depends on if they suck or not. My EVGA Hadron came with two fans that were the loudest, most obnoxious airflow fans I have ever experienced, so they got tossed in the garbage and replaced. My Corsair 350D came with a 140mm exhaust fan that seems just fine, but I didn't need it for my build, so it went into general part storage in case I ever need it for something. As with every little extra I get with various parts, I keep what I think I might use, or seems worth keeping, and trash what sucks.

I have two large drawers at this point stocked with generally useful computer bits, and a plastic bag stuffed with screws, zipties, adapters, splitters, fittings, etc, etc, to bring with me anytime I do a build for a friend.

Keep them, and store for certain situations. if you are technical, you could make a usb fan out of the case fan and control it.

http://www.instructables.com/id/How-To-Convert-A-Case-Fan-To-USB/

if you are not a DIY guy, then you can sell it on craigslist for x amount of dollars or make a post about trading it with someone since it does hold some value.

I hold on to them. Never know when a fan might die or if you come across a project that could use some fans and such.

Almost all stock sleeve bearing case fans make great shroud donors.

And, more importantly, a true DIY enthusiast is known for the size of his....fan closet.

I'll probably just sell them tbh, don't have much storage for everything and my ML140 Pro fans have like a 3 year warranty on them. Got a EVGA DG87 case that came with 7 140 fans so if anybody wants them let me know lol

Just Keep them , those stock fans won't give you a good price anyway

We need a poll; seems like 50/50 split for keep/sell so far.

I've got a bunch of fans too, from 2-wire Molex one to some decent PWM Bitfenix and Corsair, accumulated from the past builds. Should probably list them for sale.
