Pump/Reservoir combo

Hey guys,
I currently have an EK res X3 250 reservoir and an EK D5 with the original X Top (this one) and I'm looking to mount the pump to the res because my 900D midplate arrives this week and I really don't wanna drill through it. Is there any hardware made specifically to mount the pump to the res, like the ones Jayztwocents has in his build or should I use a G1/4 male to male adapter? If I go the G1/4 route wouldn't the res/pump combo be too heavy and risk falling off the support brackets?
Thanks.

I have my res connected to my pump block with a male to male G1/4 adapter. It does the trick, but then I have a pretty decent supporting bracket (diy) holding the res and pump in place.

Got any pictures of the mounting bracket you will be using? I'd say it must be pretty flimsy if you are worried about it supporting the weight of res and pump. Maybe some angle bracing could be added to it?

Thanks for the answer. I'm using the "stock" brackets that come with the res (these). Since I kinda suck at drilling (lol) I zip tied them to the case. Yeah, the reservoir is flimsy but it stays there no problem
