As its is Android is synonymous with the gutter dwellers of Calcutta.
I know right. It's like trying to take overpriced Apple products serious, but they use names like El Capitan, Yosemite, Mavericks, etc. Good thing neither company has an official software number that most refer to it as, oh wait, they both do.

We do it our way, our prices, take it or leave it. That's all they saying.
You can dislike a company, without being forced things down your throat. For instance, I dislike Pepsi, no I utterly hate Pepsi. I prefer Coke. Pepsi doesn't force anything on me. I dislike off brand cereal and all that it stands for, but it doesn't force anything on me. I love my Ford F150 and thing Dodge Rams are a joke of a truck, but it doesn't mean Dodge forces a Ram down my throat.

I wouldn't bother even replying to this MuscleBound guy. I replied to one of his "misguided" posts on a different thread, but it wound up getting removed, along with mine since I quoted him. Going by his posts and couple of YouTube videos I peeked at, he doesn't seem very "credible". That's probably the most polite way to put it. You could check his YouTube channel that he has linked in his signature, but proceed with caution. That should help one to understand what I mean.

I believe 7.0 still has it.

I think its ios your thinking of it has no drawer as far as i know

I off-handedly had read something about android N getting rid of the app drawer some months ago.
It was probably one of the plethora of clickbait youtube or tech media sites, thanks for clearing that up for me.

I'm definitely glad and ready to get Nougat on my Nexus 6P thumb.gif, but....aggravated that AT&T has yet to release Marshmallow for the AT&T Note 4, which my wife has.angrysmiley.gif

Very dependent on the manufacture and phone.

The nexus phone are 2 years guaranteed OS updates and 3 years guaranteed security updates.

most manufactures are worse than that.

For Nexus devices, look here. For others, I'm unsure. It seems to be up to the manufacturer and/or carrier.

Yeah, I checked as well, but none yet. I'll have to wait for it, since I'm rooted and such, and can't take OTAs. I'm sure it won't be long though.
