I will only say that their are no Cure cores those are called CUDA/GPU cores. I did have a flashback to Cure Coin, Bit Coin and others.

My best card is a GTX 980 Ti and it throttles at about 73-74C when running Folding @ Home. I can believe the 60 something heat bringing the core down on Pascal, but anything less is just over monitoring and playing with something your card can't deal with as far as FPS or bench marks go.

I totally understand. But since we're OCN people, we would want to push our cards to every bit as it can possibly accomplish wink.gif

You are right, people might have achieved a 2164MHz OC but after a while their cards get throttled down to 2050-2100MHz like you said.

What I think is happening is that it throttles in steps. Like first throttle would be small, like what happens to me, from 2113MHz to 2100MHz. When I hit the next temperature point another throttle with initiate like from 2100MHz to 2088MHz, next would be 2088 to 2075MHz, next 2075 to 2050 MHz and so on. I just don't know how far it goes. When I had my stock cooler (AMP Extreme! with max temp of 52C).

When I still had my stock cooler (amp extreme cooler) which had a max temp of 52-54C my overclock of 2075MHz would go down to 2025MHz immediately once it reaches my max temperature.

Yeah, it's just a bummer that I think my Arctic Cooling Hybrid Cooler won't fit the Zotac 1070 AMP! since it's not a reference board. Do you know what OEM pump does the NZXT AIO uses? If they're the same with the AC Hybrid Cooler then I can possibly do something about it.

I concur. 60 something as the first temp threshold is reasonable. Anything below is just too hard to accept.

NZXT AIOs use Asetek pump. I think it would fit the 1070 though.

if that is your cooler as I can see the waterblock/pump looks like an asetek one so it could probably fit given that I guess they use a standard mounting holes.

I use a NZXT Kraken G10 on a 980 and 980 Ti with Corsair H50 coolers. It's the same as the H60 without the AMD brackets I only do push out but because that is all I need right now.

That is the GTX 980. The low profile asetek pump is what most AIO use.

Yes, that's my cooler and IIRC it does use an Asetek pump. So then I just probably need the G10 bracket, right? I wouldn't think that the included shroud in the Hybrid Cooler would fit but I can still try.

Well, you could try and see if the Accelero hybrid fits and if not the NZXT Kraken G10 is available here locally anyway. I have a feeling it would fit it perfectly.
