They arent going to retire heroes, they already cleared the situation by saying they won't and I never thought they actually would. Blizzard will just continue to "nerf" and "buff" things into oblivion so meta is always changing

You didn't bother to actually read anything relevant to the discussion, did you? Because you would have seen the comment from the lead developer, both linked and quoted in the thread, that said that this was just a case of an interviewer blowing a completely meaningless comment into a clickbait headline.

But, hey, whatever floats your boat.

Glad it is not happening. Either way everyone should be following r6 siege. Couple bucks gets u the year pass of all new content. Only purchases are things to make you look different. Thats how games should be in the worst case scenario.

Players were like You did what...to kenny?!?!?! You B:sozo:

This with Overwatch would be a disaster considering the rabid nature of fans...

And yet they will keep playing it. Having a case of battered wife syndrome is a requisite for playing MMOs.

Dusting off my old consoles and handhelds, and setting up VM's of 98, XP and Windows 7. Time to go retro and leave these new games behind! There are still plenty of old school games I haven't played that don't need a constant internet connection, broken on day one, have wonky DRM, and for the most part a complete SINGLE PLAYER EXPERIENCE (remember when games had this?!)

Ahh Amiga, my old friend!
