Installed corsair sfx 600w gold psu, sleeves fan cables in charcol grey, stacked hd and ssd in cage and stArted to figure out and source cad and laser cutter for aquero 6 install on front panel. Also drilled holes and mounted d5 pump.

Also talked with a few members about custom resivoir work for the front right fab Intake. Still debatin

A6 and some parts from performance pcs should be here in the next few days.

Been talking with parvum about a custom pass thru plate.. My brain needs a rest for the day but have working on the run of the coolant and gonna really have to be accurate with the custom res (will be similar size to white fan in front right) to 90 degree fittings.
The gpu cables will pass thru the middle of the plate

The juice might not be worth the squeeze but I'll more than likely do it.... Cause why do we do any of this modding stuff to begin with. May change things up at the pump side of the plate and have the pump have a 90 directly to the middle of res.

Afternoon project. First I wanna thanks Gabrielzm for really trying to help me with the dxf files in the end the laser cutters in the Southern California area are smoking crack every shop I talked with wanted 175 dollars plus for the one cut. I get it they work in bulk but a lot advertise we cater to small projects.

With that said I busted out the trusty dremel and went to town.

First taped, then made my marks, center punched corners and 4 holes. Then drilled. After drilling I used the dremel to Make the straight cuts. Then I used my drill press to drill holes along the radius. After the rough cut out I bolted up a old a6 bezel and started getting it close with a 80grit small dreme flap wheel. Then went to filing for about a hour.

I painted the cut with Matt black model spray paint and will fit it up tonight the touch screen fits perfect. I want to run the bezel so I may make some thin acrylic spacers for the outer screen to make it flush or I may buy a replacement screen and double it up (cutting out the see thru part so it's not hard to see.

More pics later

Kinda chuckled a bit when I opened the box... The fan does push a good amount of air thru this lil booger.... Will it add any cooling to my loop.... It's gotta do something how much.... I don't know. 😁 Fits perfect in that lil space.

Loops done pretty happy I can take the top section off or the back panel off and disconnect the lower rad via oc cool threaded quick disconnects ... So much better than the bitspower snap ones. Waiting on a gtx 980ti to upgrade my 780 (traded my nova case straight across for it) also added a drain port that passes thru the hard drive tray. I'll be able to drop the tray disconnect necessary cables and change fluid when needed.

Now all that's left is to sleeve some cables and leak test. Obviously the lower cable compartment is a mess just for some light testing.

Done for now. Have a 980ti and ek nickel block and back plate on the way to upgrade the 780. And just purchased a Ocz vector 480gb ssd to go along with my 120gb. Other than some cable management I'm really happy with the turnout. Still undecided on coolant color prob go with grey like Gabriel's grey matter.

Was your system pretty easy to get primed? The placement of the pump in relation to the reservoir makes me nervous, but it looks great! thumb.gif

I really like this build! The idea of a pass through plate is pretty interesting! Would love to see it happen smile.gif
