Windowed case suggestions up to £80

Thread Starter
Hardware:
  • 6700K (with slight overclock)
  • Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO cooler (quite large)
  • Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 AMP Extreme (one of the physically largest GPUs)
  • 3x HDDs
  • 1x SSD

Current case:

A mid tower Cooler Master HAF 922 from 2009.

It's rough dimensions are W25.5 x H50 x D56 cm.

Due to the size of the GPU and CPU cooler, I don't want the new case to be any smaller than this.

Any suggestions?

Here are all the cases that meet your requirements:
https://skinflint.co.uk/?cat=gehatx&bpmax=0-81&v=e&hloc=uk&filter=update&sort=p&xf=2634_320~534_ATX~536_3~7753_160~8659_mit~984_1#xf_top

And I'd recommend:
The Fractal Define S:

And the NZXT S340:

Right, I've limited it down.

My three requirements:

  1. Similar depth of my current case (the GPU only just about fits into this case, much smaller and it won't fit)
  2. A side window
  3. Up to £100

Not sure why you're so focused on external dimensions? They're completely meaningless and have no indication as to what length GPU's fit in the case.
That Silverstone PM01 for example is just clad in tons of plastic to make it seem bigger.

I'd recommend using the tool I linked, as you can just enter the minimum CPU cooler height and GPU length and other specs you require.(which I already did for you)

Anyway, If you're willing to push your budget to a 100 pounds, I'd recommend the In Win 303, it looks amazing and fits your hardware.

The price is a bit inflated in the UK atm though.

Edit: scratch that, it doesn't fit all your HDD's.

Too late, bought the Thermaltake Suppressor F51 from Amazon for £82.

It's about the same dimensions as my (now) old Cooler Master HAF 922 smile.gif

You know that's just a lower quality Chinese copy of the Fractal Define S/R5 right? And you actually paid more for it that a Define S and only slightly less than an R5...

Not sure why you even made a thread if you weren't interested in any suggestions.
