Worth upgrading?

Thread Starter
Hi everybody, I have a question:
Is it worth upgrading to a KUL ES-87 and a Zowie ZA13 from an Asus Strix Tactic Pro and Logitech G500?

Main use is gaming, let's say 60-65%, then we have 30% browsing and typing 5-10%
I play LoL, Overwhatch, Battlefield, some CS:GO, single player games and very rarely MMORPGs.

So, do I upgrade or save money?

I would say... save money and upgrade to something better later. I would upgrade my pc instead of upgrading a keyboard and mouse

The fact is that my pc is new, I have:

Phanteks enthoo pro m windowed
Aquacomputer farbwerk led controller + aquacomputer rgb led strips
Corsair RM750x
Msi x99a sli krait
Intel I7-5820k
Prolimatek genesis + 2x noiseblocker eLoop b12-2
16gb corsair vengeance lpx
Sapphire R9 390 8GB W/bp
Samsung 850pro 256gb
Samsung 850evo 1tb

S.M.S.L SA60 + Wharfedale Diamond 210

Planning to upgrade:
my monitor (Samsung XL2370HD) to a new one, ips 2k
my headphones (JVC HA-RX700) to something like senneiser
My mouse and keyboard

Regarding my monitor I'm waiting till December to upgrade.
For my headphones I'm a bit undecided, because for a real upgrade I should pick some models that need amplification, but my amp is made only for speakers and I don't want to change it so soon (only 2 months old)

So here we are with mouse and keyboard. If the models that I suggested are not a big upgrade from what I have, can you help me with other suggestions?
Thanks

Well you could upgrade that 390 to a Nvidia....👍👌

Seriouly get a DT770 headphone set. Get the 80ohms version and you'll be fine with onboard amp.

At this moment I don't need more than my gpu, when I'll be playing in 2k I'll upgrade, but not before the 490 release. I don't like to buy one brand before having seen what the opponent brand offers.

I'm going to take a look at the headphones set and in the meanwhile I'll wait for suggestions on mice and keyboard

Just joking on the GPU, little red vs green action

DT770 are great, it's what I run current.

I don't know if switching to ES-87 is an upgrade or downgrade. What are you looking for in a keyboard anyway?
There's gonna be some reason you picked Tactic Pro in the first place.

Upgrade the mouse.

If the keyboard feels like a bad match for your personal preferences-- if the size or switch type feels awkward to you-- then switch; otherwise, save your money.

Well what I can say is that I want a smaller keyboard and I have a friend of mine who is paying 80€ for my Asus which I think is not bad (I bought it at 125€ two years ago).
I'm really in love with the aluminium finish of the corsair k65 but it really seems to be much less durable and solid than a Kul or a Filco.

If I buy the Kul I'm pretty sure that I'll paint the case with metallized grey spray, to give it a sort of aluminium finish. Looking at good build quality, other TKL in aluminium that you know of?

You can grab a Filco TKL and a aluminium case. But it's gonna cost much more.
